What happens on this website
The enquiry form sends your details over HTTPS to our server, through Emergent’s managed email service using Resend, and to our Proton Mail inbox. Sending does not require an email application. We do not save enquiries in a website database or persistent browser storage. Messages are retained in our correspondence systems and email and hosting providers may keep delivery and security records. HTTPS protects transport; this delivery chain is not represented as end-to-end encrypted. Selected service identifiers may appear in links, but your enquiry text does not.
When you email us
We receive your professional name, email, preferred language, whether you are starting or already active, selected services, optional public profile, project description and confirmations that you are 18 or over and have read this notice. Required fields allow us to assess and reply to the enquiry; an optional profile can be omitted. We respond and prepare a requested proposal under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b), where taking steps towards a contract with you. General correspondence relies on Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and managing the business. Reading this notice is not consent to marketing and does not subscribe you to advertising.
Technical data and security
The server and hosting providers process technical information such as IP addresses, request metadata and delivery identifiers to operate the website and prevent abuse. The form uses temporary rate-limit and duplicate-submission records in server memory. Our purpose is reliable delivery and protection against spam and misuse, based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). These controls are not used to make automated eligibility or pricing decisions about you.
Sensitive information
Do not send intimate content, identity documents, passwords, bank details or information about your sex life in an initial enquiry. Client onboarding, verification, content permissions and specific processing require separate information and agreements before services begin.
Recipients and providers
Correspondence is received through Proton Mail and may be handled by authorised VELVET ELITE LTD personnel. Emergent, its managed sending service with Resend, and Proton process delivery and technical logs under their own terms. Your own email provider is also involved if you email us from your email application. The website code includes no analytics scripts, advertising pixels or third-party form services. Emergent platform cookies are described in our cookie notice. This website is hosted by Emergent, whose service may process IP addresses and technical logs to deliver and protect the website. Retention
Enquiries are kept as necessary to respond, manage a proposal and resolve related issues. If services are agreed, relevant records become part of the contract file and are kept as required by applicable obligations. The criteria are the relationship, legal obligations and claim periods; unnecessary correspondence will not be kept indefinitely.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and legal requirements, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection using the contact above. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or your competent local authority.
Scope
This notice covers this website and initial enquiries. Contracted services require specific privacy information based on the accounts, platforms, access permissions and providers involved.
International processing
Our providers operate internationally. Emergent states that its processing and storage locations include the United States, the EU and India. Resend describes its primary processing operations as being in the United States; Proton Mail states that its mail servers are in Switzerland, Germany or Norway. Processing is therefore not limited to the UK. The applicable provider arrangements and any onward transfers determine the safeguards required. Your right to object
You may object, for reasons relating to your situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests. Contact velvetelite@protonmail.com. We must consider your objection and stop that processing unless an applicable legal ground allows us to continue, such as compelling overriding grounds or legal claims. This is separate from your other rights listed above.
Social links and contracted services
X, Instagram and TikTok links take you to external services; our icons do not embed their feeds or advertising pixels. Their own privacy rules apply when you visit. This notice covers website enquiries, not all processing within a managed creator account. Before services start, the agreement must identify account permissions, the parties’ controller or processor roles, confidentiality, relevant suppliers and any further information needed for creator or subscriber data.
